Grand Opening Set For June 26th - Mobility Equipment for Less

Grand Opening Celebration and Recap

By early June, 2016, Mobility Equipment Recyclers fully moved into the new facility on Post Road in North Kingstown. To celebrate, we cordially invited everyone to our Grand Opening celebration, which took place on Sunday June 26th at 6802 Post Road in North Kingstown, RI.

We planned a big party for everyone to enjoy! There was food, music, drinks and raffle prizes. Everyone was invited.

Doors opened at 10am. This was our way of not only showing thanks to those who've helped us in the past, but also a way to usher in an exciting future.

It's no secret that wheelchairs, scooters, hospital beds and the like can be very expensive, which is why we were so excited to donate to those in need to coincide with the opening of our new storefront.

June 29, 2016 Update: Grand Opening Recap

We want to thank everyone who attended our Grand Opening celebration. Here is a quick recap of the event! But first, I just want to give a shout out to a few local businesses that really made the day special, particularly Pier Pizza and owner Jordan Becker.

Jordan was excellent throughout the whole day and delivered fresh pies whenever we needed them. Thanks a bunch!

Kerrie Lanoie from Sonoma Bistro & Wine Bar was tremendous in helping with the ribbon cutting ceremony.

I also want to give a special thanks to Brett Sampson from Sampson's Automotive. Brett was there early and stayed late throughout the whole set up and break down phases.

We wish a sincere appreciation to the following businesses for their gracious door prize donations:

  • Kingstown Liquor Mart
  • Napa Auto Parts
  • Sonoma Bistro & Wine Bar
  • Therapy Boutique
  • Sears Hometown Store
  • Perfect Pooch
  • The Nook Coffee House
  • Sports & More
  • Papa Franco's
  • Back to Basics
  • Tim & Nikki's NY System
  • O Sushi
  • Raw Bob's Organic Juicery
  • Sampson's Automotive
  • Salon O
  • B101
  • Kings Crossing Golf Club

I would be remiss if I also didn't thank photographer Don Coyne for his excellent work on Sunday in capturing the essence of the celebration. Here is a little preview of the video Don created:

Lastly, 4 families that attended the grand opening were chosen to receive free medical equipment for their loved ones:

  • Jeffrey & Ronald LaChance
  • Alan & Donald Kinsley
  • Joe & JoAnne Ercoli
  • Catherine Rose Barbara Honko

Now that the dust has settled from the Grand Opening we can get back to doing what we do best, and that is providing the community with high-quality, refurbished mobility and medical equipment at a fraction of the cost.

Thanks again to everyone who has supported us throughout the years. There's a bright future ahead and the best is yet to come!
