Hydraulic or Battery Powered?

There are a few things to consider when choosing between hydraulic and electric patient lifts. Electric patient lifts are certainly more convenient than their hydraulic counterparts, but they do offer a couple disadvantages. Electric patient lifts do require a batter, so charging will be required to use it. Additionally, there may be additional costs later when the battery dies.

Hydraulic lifts don't require charging or the need for battery replacement. However, over years the hydraulic seals will begin to leak and need to be replaced. It's not expensive, but it will be an inconvenience if the lift is needed often.
