The unique design of the Rowheels engages larger muscle groups in the back and shoulders, helping reduce stress on the joints while making everyday travel feel smoother and more efficient. Designed to keep you healthy and active, Rowheels drive a chair forward when you pull on the handrim and backwards when you push.
Unlike conventional wheelchair wheels that rely entirely on pushing, the REV-LX utilizes Rowheels' patented geared hub technology to provide a mechanical advantage. The low-gear drive system reduces the amount of force required to propel the wheelchair by approximately 25%, making it easier to navigate ramps, carpeted floors, grass, uneven sidewalks, and other challenging surfaces.
Installation is quick and straightforward thanks to the integrated quick-release axle system. The REV-LX wheels are compatible with many standard manual wheelchairs from brands such as Quickie, TiLite, and Ki Mobility and can be removed just as easily as traditional rear wheels for transportation or storage.
