PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Unlike a conventional walker, the Pacer is designed specifically around the mechanics of walking. Its configurable support system can help position the user while still allowing controlled movement through the gait cycle. With the appropriate configuration, the Pacer can be used as either an anterior or posterior gait trainer, making it adaptable to different therapeutic approaches and individual positioning requirements.
One of the defining features of the Rifton Pacer is its optional dynamic upper frame. Dynamic movement allows controlled vertical and horizontal movement at the upper frame, helping accommodate the natural shifts in body position and weight that occur during walking.
The K640 Large Pacer is designed for users with an elbow height of approximately 32 to 47 inches. Elbow height is measured vertically from the floor to the user's bent elbow while standing upright and is an important measurement when selecting the appropriate Pacer size. It can comfortable support users up to 200 lbs.
