At the heart of the Zippie IRIS is its patented Intelligent Rotation in Space (IRIS) technology, which allows the seat frame to adjust to the user’s center of gravity. This smooth, controlled movement minimizes shear forces and enhances comfort during tilt adjustments. With up to 55° of posterior tilt, caregivers can easily reposition users for pressure relief.
The addition of the XLOCK folding cross brace allows the frame to fold up, transforming this high-performance tilt-in-space wheelchair into one of the most transport-friendly options on the market.
