The AM12S features a fixed-drive system that encourages continuous pedaling motion, making it especially beneficial for riders who struggle to complete a full pedal rotation independently. Because the pedals and drivetrain remain engaged, the tryke stops moving when the rider stops pedaling, helping reinforce coordinated movement patterns and improving motor planning skills.
Built with a durable rolled steel frame and a low center of gravity, the AM12S provides outstanding stability and rider confidence both indoors and outdoors. Adjustable quick-turn knobs allow caregivers to easily reposition the seat for proper rider fit, while four seat post positions and a sliding seat bracket accommodate growing children and varying leg lengths.
The AM12S also includes several caregiver-friendly features designed to simplify daily use. Rear steering allows an adult to guide and assist from behind when needed, and the steering limiter offers multiple settings for controlled learning and gradual independence. A loading brake helps stabilize the tryke during transfers, while the pneumatic rear tires and flat-resistant front wheel provide a smooth, dependable ride across a variety of surfaces.
